Admin Access

Ensure administrator rights on the server and Remote Desktop Access before starting. Services path: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools\services.lnk

License Activation

  • →LEF is downloaded when serial + control number are entered in QMC
  • →Signed License obtained from Qlik sales or the organisation
  • →SLD Link: license.qlikcloud.com/sld — valid for 90 days only
  • →Whitelist license.qlikcloud.com and lef4.qliktech.com in Proxy Exceptions

PostgreSQL Upgrade Note

If migrating PostgreSQL version, follow the Qlik Community guide. Note: after QPI migration to PG 12, Qlik Sense Repository Database service is replaced by postgresql-x64-12.
